چکیده
Control system security is enhanced by the ability to detect malicious attacks on sensor measurements. Dynamic watermarking can such linear time-invariant systems. However, existing theory focuses attack detection and not use of in conjunction with mitigation strategies. In this article, we study problem switching between two sets sensors: One set sensors has high accuracy but vulnerable attack, whereas second low cannot be attacked. The design a strategy based dynamic watermarking. This requires new because results are adequate control or bound behavior strategies that finite data. To overcome this, develop sample hypothesis tests for case bounded disturbances, using modern concentration measure random matrices. Our resulting validated simulation analysis an autonomous driving setting, which demonstrates strong performance our proposed policy.

Finite Sample Size Optimality of GLR Tests
In binary hypothesis testing, when the hypotheses are composite or the corresponding data pdfs contain unknown parameters, one can use the well known generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) to reach a decision. This test has the very desirable characteristic of performing simultaneous detection and estimation in the case of parameterized pdfs or combined detection and isolation in the case of ...
متن کاملBayesian sample size determination under hypothesis tests.
We develop a Bayesian approach for calculating sample sizes for clinical trials under the framework of hypothesis tests. We extend the work of Weiss (The Statistician 1997; 46: 185-191) to include composite distributions for the treatment effect and the variance of the data within the null and alternative hypotheses. We select sample sizes using the Bayes factor and the averaged type I error an...
متن کاملSensor Network Configuration Under Physical Attacks
Sensor networks typically operate in hostile outdoor environments. In such environments, sensor networks are highly susceptible to physical attacks that can result in physical node destructions. In this paper, we study the impacts of physical attacks on sensor network configuration. Lifetime is an important metric during configuration for many sensor applications. While lifetime is constrained ...
